Moses Fay, Jr.
A Revolutionary War Veteran with ties to Cattaraugus County.
Life: Born 1763; died March 11, 1842, in Hinsdale, NY. Buried near Cuba, NY. Married Mary Hazen in 1785.
Service: Private in the same regiment as his father (Col. Samuel Webb’s). He fought at the Battle of East Chester and in New Jersey.
Records: Granted a pension in November 1820; his widow received a pension in 1842.
