James Rivetti, U.S. Navy - Our Veterans, Their Stories

James “Jim” Rivetti served as a storekeeper beginning in May of 1969 on the LST1178 The Wood County. Their two-year mission was to transport a new type of ship, a hydrofoil named the Tucumcari, to various ports in Europe demonstrating the new ship to allies of the United States.
